5 mbit/s would be some seriously slow service. m (milli) ≠ M (mega), just like b (bit) ≠ B (byte).

/pet peeve, but it makes a difference when you're comparing services!

@charter.com		 Well if you're going to be that picky, a bit is an atomic thing that can't be broken down below an integer value. So millibits as a unit doesn't make any sense at all anyway.
