Towerstream's current 8mbps symetrical service is $999 per month (but No extra tax or loop charge and installs are free (with contract) ) service areas are downtown core only within the 16-20 cities they serve. |

| reply to tshirt Would it be appropriate to start a new thread with pics of the equipment? It has been rock solid, and since many of the towers are on their fiber ring (capacity should NOT be an issue). I have had 0 downtime since installation, and my speed has varied from 13 down to 5.1 down, but no less than that. Up speed really sucked until I tweaked it in Vista (which I thought did not need tweaking), but it goes from 1.5 to 3.1 up. 67-73 MS ping times to test sites. I tried WoW (I don't game to see if it was ok for gaming, and it works fine).
If anyone wants to see pics. I will be happy to do that. The install guy was really nice. He came out did a survey, and found the site that had the strongest signal on the rough.
