| ISDN Pricing in Tennessee?
I'm looking at getting ISDN service at my home and have one simple question that I've been trying to get answered by someone.....anyone before ordering and hope that someone on here can quickly and easily answer the following question.
I've already tried contacting Bellsouth/AT&T directly, but they wouldn't quote me other than the monthly price.
Basically what I'm looking for is what the total monthly bill is for Bellsouth/AT&T ISDN (S plan) ($35.39) with all of the necessary taxes, fees, tariffs, etc....added.
If someone has a different/more expensive plan, please let me know your total bill also....anything would help.
Thanks for any info! |

| Yes that is correct , mine runs 44.00 mth after all the taxes , you then have to have a provider, I use MSN dialup , for 19.95( connects both channels for the last 3 yrs , others have posted about sbc yahoo , basically you sign up for a dial up plan
now for even better news , if you have cellphone coverage at home , ( I dont , had to purchase an antenna and amp) you can use att or verizon wireless, i have att and I get some good downland speeds on my pda which can also be used with an air card on a desktop computer , just make sure it supports hspda and the edge network gets some pretty decent speeds , if you live in an area that has 3g it rocks |

| reply to SideWinder just a heads up , most bellsouth and Att people do not know what isdn is , I don't mean that in a derogatory way but if you call you will get a bunch of :I don't knows" until you reach that department, get the direct # out of the front of the phone book for isdn ,
it is an older technology thats quickly going going gone with dsl the new kid on the block , problem is not everyone can get dsl especially in a rural are and att /belssouth has been promising me for years that dsl is coming , especially since the merger but Christmas has come and gone also , i just dont think they will upgrade the infrastructure in the rural areas because there is no return on it , not enough customers unless the cows sign up ,
I would look at wireless with the phone companies and look and see if you can get att or verizon broadband service and do some research , stay away from satelite ,
that being sadi I had isdn for the last 5 years 2 times and it filled a void but it is time to go |

| I live in Tn and I have isdn with localnet. It connects good with both channels but on xbox live it laggs bad sometimes. I found one isp that didnt lagg called monsterisp but they stopped letting me connect for some reason. I might give msn a try. Do you guys play on live with msn. If you do please let me know how it does. If I didnt care about live I would stick with localnet. Its fast and a good isp. |
