That is a very old modem, along the lines of the SB3100 modem by General Instruments/Motorola. 3Com no longer makes modems, and that is probably for a good reason, as we had all sorts of issues with those modems in the early days.
They will work, at least for now, but are DOCSIS 1.0 modems, which are not upgradable to 1.1/2.0 in any way.
Is there a reason why you are looking to purchase a modem? If you are having issues with your existing one, we will exchange it at no cost to you. |

have her call the local office and make sure she brings the old modem, we'll give her a new D2.0 modem to replace it.
Waterford is next after Niantic and EL, not sure on the exact dates two months plus |

I am guessing Putnam will be last on the list. Is there some where a list of what will be as far as new channels to help me decide if it worth waiting for? |

Not sure if this is BS or not but Yahoo TV listings »tv.yahoo.com/listings has a choice of:
Metrocast Communications Waterford- Digital (Non Rebuild) and Digital Rebuild, among other choices in a dropdown, if you select 06385 for your Zip Code.
I am sure one of the Metrocast people can weigh in on this if it is wrong or misleading. |

1 edit | I was not detailed enough in my info, which is strange for me usually I give so much detail that I insult people. Least that's what my wife says and she is never wrong!
On the right hand side of the page, next to the Tivo icon click on, "Change provider" and than chose the one you want. I am showing channel numbers up to 726, with a lot of holes (missing numbers). I did not count how many there actually are so possibly that is what you mean by only seeing a 100.
If that does not work let me know and I'll past the whole thing into an email. |

Well I have tried to change my provider many times and no matter what I do I get Waterford standard an it tops out at 100.
