| N2P deal for real? Questions looking for answers...
Now that the taliban has finally kicked me off SR I need a new provider. N2P looks enticing.
I recently joined SR for 2 years for $200. So I can get X months of service through them for a couple of bucks per month, based on quotes from the other threads. I have a couple of questions.
Has any one actually gotten the 12 months of essentially free service COMMITMENT from them yet? Yes, I know you have to file the rebate, etc. Anyone got confirmation that they have 12 months yet? I am concerned that they don't honor the free year of the buy one get one free year part of my contract from SR. I called their CS, but weren't helpful. They said the amount of the rebate would be up to the discretion of the rebate department. Whatever that means.
How much would be the service after the initial free X months. As another thread pointed out yesterday, they quote $19.95 on the N2P SR deal page for unlimited service. But if you look at the regular N2P voiceline page, the unlimited US and CANADA price is ~$30.
I have about 6 months left on the SR contract, if N2P doesn't count the free second year. So I'd be locked down to paying 6 months if that is the case. 6 months at $30 is definitely not a GOOD deal by any stretch.. |

| 2nd year is counted. They told me that it didn't matter if you paid for your service, got it for free, or agreed to do lisa in exchange ; they would count it as what you had left on your account. You can only get a max of 12 months for free - $1.06/month charged extra for taxes. |
