 [Vista] Odd Vista Problem

I recently just upgraded to Vista (Business) with a fresh install. I tried to do the updates & received an error code message after researching it I was told to delete the Software Deployment folder & re-create it. Well it worked perfectly & all was well with my updates. Yesterday I went to do some more updates that were released & for some reason one of the security updates keeps popping up saying that it is not installed correctly & then needs to be re-installed. I re-install it & keep getting the same message for some reason Vista wont accept the install. Any thoughts?

I'm a nimrod as a network admin that should have been the first place I looked. I completely forgot. I think because the system is so new to me I just over looked it. I'll go back & check it out. Thanks! =)

Here is what my event log is saying. I'm pretty sure it's related to the issue I'm having with installing this update.

"The winlogon notification subscriber failed a critical notification event."

Event ID: 6004
Source: Winlogon

Any info is appreciated.
