[Boost Mobile] Text Message Problem on i275

Any one have an idea who to speak to at Boost to resolve the problem below.

NONE of the CSR's are knowledgable enough to resolve this.....They think putting me on hold and I will go away.

Problem started when I had to change phones from an i285. I chose to use an i275 I had around and different SIM. (SIM and phone were cancelled and released by Nextel and Boost)

Called Boost, an EXCELLENT lady in CS did a FANTASTIC job! Took SIM # and IMEI number, did a master reset and reboot phone, all is good there. No problems getting calls or DC.

The problem is getting text messages via the web site or via the email

If I goto NEXTEL's site and send a message via the web form it comes thru as a SMS, fine.

Going to Boosts site to send a text or to 1234567890@myboostmobile.com email results in the error message below.

Any one have an idea on how to resolve this???? Who I can speak to? CSR's and supervisors were a waste of my time.

Boost's firm answer is to tell me that the phones are imcompatible....OK. RIIIGHT! Its iDEN and its Nextels network.

Checking my.nextel.com shows my account:

You're not the first Boost customer to need to be turned over to Nextel CS to resolve a text messaging issue, unfortunately. I was there a couple years back. Then the issue was a phone number change; they had me regenerate a security key on my i60c (there's a sub menu for that) which solved my problem. Try pressing twice (or pressing and holding) the MENU key and that advanced menu should appear.

I no longer have Boost (wife still does) because I wasn't getting my text massages reliably, sometimes not for a couple of DAYS! It must be an internal issue with Boost servers which the lowly level 1 reps can't help with.

AFAIK Boost is the only national prepaid left with no charge incoming text; I guess you really do get what you pay for.
