I think I need a new cable modem what do you recommend i should buy. I am using a motorola surfboard 4100 modem what should I replace it with. I think its only docis 1.1 but not to sure about that. Also I need the number for comcast for when I buy it |

| reply to gsm i have the Motorola 5100 series. it might be the 5200. i would have to go look. i know i have had both versions of the modem and they work really well. im thinking i have the older one now.
i will get a linksys so i can drop the 5 bucks a month rent fee from Comcast next time i see the free with activation deal they (Linksys) runs from time to time. |
