| Sorry to hear that. I'm sorry to hear your TWC HSI sucked, but you really should've expected to get 8 megs down (as they say) and as for the upload, it's not 768, it's 512. (you test at near 460)
As you said, you need the speed for your job and I can appreciate that very much. Though, if you're looking for decent "reliable" speeds all the time, you should stick with that T-1 and just pay the money. At least you know it works when you need it, right?
As for your Speakeasy review, could you write that up in a separate review for Speakeasy? It gets a little confusing the way you have it currently.
On the Vz FiOS note, all I can say is check back every week and see if you can get it,then make the appointment right after.
Here I am, in a place that can't ever get any Vz service and I'm still praying to the tech Gods that by some stroke of luck Vz will come and take over my area from this poor ass, overpriced BellSouth service. (I switched to VoIP two years ago and haven't had BellSouth since, but I'm drooling for some of that Fiber! ^_^)
