One must remember that it isn't MS controlling the DRM policies on content from the RIAA/MPAA, it's those organizations themselves.
I agree. It is the music companies that force Apple and Microsoft to put DRM on their music download services. Both would prefer to sell music w/o DRM. That way they could sell more music and more hardware players.
