I had AT&T Wireless free2go prepaid analog service which worked quite well even in rural areas. After Cingular brought AT&T Wireless they replaced that service with their digital GO phone service. Since I was an existing customer I was able to stay with the AT&T service until my phone died. So the new phone ended up with the Cingular prepaid Go service which was supposed to be the same but totally sucks. It shows on the map that it is supposed to work in Orange County, NY but does not work anywhere north of Rockland county.
