| Zyxel Firewall
I manage a Zyxel Zywall 35. I kept loosing the connection [it would should no connection momentarily] and this happened a few times a day. Therefore, I looked into updating the firmware to [V4.01(WZ.1)|09/06/2006] and it did help some, because I am now having less connection drops. But I still get some connection drops once in a while. I would like to know if anyone knows the root of this problem and how can I solve it.
Thank You!! |

| reply to rxveil8 Come on Anav, weigh in on this... Do you have any log messages that indicate a reason? Is UPNP or any other dynamic port mapping feature enabled on this firewall? In terms of topology, can you provide some sort of diagram showing the network. Are any other resources unavailable when the firewall goes down, which may indicate a loss of connectivity between you and the firewall, not the firewall itself? -- Luminaire
