Number of manual set Routes in Windows

I've noticed that in WinXP, if I add a lot of routes, it starts overwriting older ones. Does anyone know how many WinXP allows, and if there is any way around that?

There is no size limit.

Are you sure that some of your routes aren't using the same network/subnet as the earlier rules?

The easy solution is to use a dedicated router to maintain all the routes you need, and a set a default route on the windows box to the router.
