Have you tried putty?
I know and use Putty almost daily.. but for very different reasons. How could I do what I said using Putty? I also love and use WinSCP but don't know how I could do it with that either.. that is.. how do I make my system accessible to such tools?

What do you actually want to do? I doubt if Newsleecher and running your own news server is a good solution.

No ok.. Newsleecher has a feature where it lets you set a folder that it should watch for new NZB files. As soon as a new NZB file appears in that folder, Newsleecher grabs it and starts downloading the appropriate content. What I want to be able to do remotely is to drop NZB files in that folder so Newsleecher downloads stuff on its own while I'm gone. Of course it would be handy to be able to actually start Newsleecher remotely too, in case I did not leave it on when I left my apartment.
