I found a NETGEAR Gigabit Router as well, but it did not come with a modem.
It saves space & it is more flexible actually, most of the ADSL all-in-one routers I bought supported almost every protocol, I can connect & change setting on different ISP's. International version have more support on them. I bought a modem from the US & when I traveled back home I got stuck with it.
I really need the Gigabit Router for my Gigabit shared storage, it is kind of slow to connect with 100mbps & only get 7-8MB/s transferring a 7 gb file! |
