Hey guys ... I'm in 08080 in NJ. I just got pizza from blackwood and saw that on the box it had an ad for the 16mb download speed on it. I'm 20min were I got the pizza, and do not have the 768k up speeds yet. How bout anyone else around here? -- My Blog |

Around here, other side of the river from you, they sent a flyer to some people advertising 6000/768 and 16/1. I've gotten the 6000/768 automatically (but I never got the flyer). It just showed up one day. Some people that got the notification don't have the 768 up. Go Figure

| reply to Daniel8802 My area (Comcast of Central NJ) is still at the old speeds which, in itself, sucks, especially considering that Comcast areas not too far away from here both in NJ and neighboring PA have already received the upgrades. What makes *them* more deserving???
Even more annoying, however, is the lack of information and/or knowledge exhibited by phone reps who just don't seem to have a clue. I've heard everything from "it will be rolled out to all of NJ by the end of the month" to "we have no information about that" to "I don't know what you're talking about." Why does Comcast have to always over-complicate everything? It's a damn modem config file that's been tried and tested for months. Just push it out already! And please tell your reps and customers what's going on! |

| reply to Steely believe me its NOT as simple as it seems. for a company that has alot of employees, and if the customer service rep you are talking to is not local to you they might not have the info. So believe me when I say its takes alot to turn up the juice, and keep everyone notified. |
