In Evansville, Insight charges $39.95/month with no other services for their HSI, $10.00 less if you have digital cable (which I already do), and $15 off if you have digital cable and phone service.
and no, I have absolutely no need for a POTS line, I've never used it and never intend to, just use my cell. |

So Insight also has "unbundling" fees. Same as Comcast, same as "dry loop" DSL.
I have no need for cable TV, so I either have to pay the "unbundling" fee to get cable HSI, or forget about cable HSI.
I do use POTS, I don't need cable TV. There is no incentive for me to switch from DSL to cable HSI.
