No way. If this long rollout period turns out to be true then I'll say goodbye to you and your nice customer support, T-Mobile, despite I'm using it since Clinton times when I've immigrated (used to be called Voicestream).
My only sane choice is Sprint even though I really dislike US-only CDMA phones but their EVDO plan is sooo cheap and truly unlimited, let alone they have HTC Apache (Sprint PPC-6700) WiFi PDA phone...
TMO USA, you did screw up this. I was really patient but another year sounds outrageous when even former Commie Mid-EU countries have multi-megabit HSDPA since early this year... sorry but unless you promise I will have HSDPA here by next March latest, I will wave goodbye and switch.
Now I'll wait 'til the end of this month then call them up to see when can I expect faster speed here in NYC. If I can't get it before next Summer then I'll change provider. |
