More overseas consumer networking products, sigh

I am not pro-American in any way, but based on my experienced with numerous consumer/household router vendors (D-Link, Linksys, Netgear, SMC, and 3Com), I am very much against any Taiwanese company maintaining the firmware my router uses. The code is awful, bugs are everywhere, there's obviously no QA/testing done, and there's absolutely zero responsibility required for maintaining the product.

I often wonder how non-English-speaking/reading cultures can comprehend RFCs or technical specifications such as IP and TCP. (As someone who's white and took 5 years of Mandarin, I feel I'm quite justified in stating something this bold)

Well the firmware will be maintained by fon people, as far as hardware those us made routers almost all use chips made in taiwan or other asia country. The firmware is written by the people from linksysinfo and dd-wrt projects, so it's waay better then anything stock

God knows that being patriotic is a capital offense if you're an American these days-- although most countries don't have the conviction to execute criminals so they'll probably just send you to la Côte d'Ivoire and let the French deal with you.
