Your grasp of history is dismally awry. Go back and watch those documentaries again, and pay attention this time. Even better, read some books.

2 edits		 He's probably confusing MS-DOS with DOS(/360,/VSE) (?). At least, that's what I hope his (her?) confusion is... and MS-DOS came before Unix? Nope... also wrong.
