[TV] Southeast - DVR Guide and Menu problems

Started around 7:30 p.m. this evening 9/12 in Tampa, FL. Seems to be a regional problem with the Microsoft server crashing which handles the Guide updates. All menu and guide functions are not working at this time. It sucks when your DVR content is held hostage from you. I hope Verizon learns to spread the load of the guide updates across more servers/locations!

Yep. So that's the deal.
I've been rebooting each device one-by-one...

I thought about sitting on Verizon hold for awhile, but then I slapped myself and logged into this forum! Of course! Here's where the unbiased truth lies.

Come on Verizon! You really need to let people know what's going on. What IS the point of having the "message from Verizon" section in the Guide?!

Oh yeah. The guide has been broken for at leat 2.5 hours now...I forgot.

Dear Verizon: Fix your Shizzle.

Calling one of the 888 numbers told me there was a TV outage in my area after I entered my phone number. Talking to the support guy about a possible web page he confirmed that there isn't a status page for FIOS at this time, they are working on one!!!! I would like to know if they will post an article about the details of this issue someplace, once resolved.

The Guide is fixed...but the Home Media DRV function is non-operational.

The options to see recorded content are missing.

Maybe I need to reboot everything. It does use Microsoft code!
