| Poor speed from 3web again
Anyone having reduced speed (cable gold)again with 3web in Scarborough area. For the past evenings, the D/L speed has dropped to average 500 kbps (normally is around 5.7mbps)? No response to my email as yet from 3web. Anyone hope of switching to 3web from Rogers should hold off for now. This really sucks as just when things seem to be looking up for 3web/CIA/IGS. |

I talked to the guy at technical support and he said he will send somebody from ROGERS to check the line.
I thought 3web has its own server now tho.
Does 3web still have to go through rogers even if they have their own server???? |

I don't know what's happening with 3web.....
Last time, it was changing everythin to their own server...
but what is it this time?

The speed seems to be bouncing around alot lately. Sometimes it's super fast and other times super slow. It must be the user load on the network... Too bad. |

well i live in scarborough and i've been having the shittiest speeds ever for the last 2 months about 300kbps, why is my IP a calgary ip and why does is start with 206.xxx.xxx.xxx, i've been having 3web for almost a year now and i haven't seen this kind of shitty service EVER from them, thinking of switching back.!! can't even get on hold in tech support |

| I have been experiencing exactly the same speed issue since day one, I'm in Scarborough, 206.* ip, the speed could be as low as 1xx kbps.
sent email to tech support, was asked for some tests, sent results ...
Would switch back to Rogers if no improvements in 3 months. |

| I am seriously considering cancelling 3web.
It seems like there is NO problem with their line and I am getting this shitty speed every night.
Would this speed go up if I switch it to rogers tho??
I know Rogers internet also slows down during peak hours, but it wouldn't be this slow tho.. am I right?? |

| I am going to cancel 3web tomorrow.. I just can't deal with this slow speed. Also, I haven't even received voice terminal which I ordred about a month ago.

Hey guys,
My 3web cable connection is sooo slow starting yesterday. There have been lotta frequent disconnects since yesterday. Is there anyone else having the same issue or is just me? If it is just me, please let me know how a way how to fix it since I have failed to reach a 3web tech since today morning. Thanks in advance |

m3h | I just ran a line test. I am also getting really crappy speeds. The line test is 10% packet loss. HORRIBLE!!!
Hope this clears up soon. Im on the phone waiting for a techie now. |
