OK why are they so interested in running coax all of a sudden if they're already running cat5 now? Why didn't they start with coax to begin with? So if I understand it right, the path would go fiber to coax to small run of cat5 at your computer? I guess that'd work. |

What they are interested in is using the existing coax that is already there. You say that running Cat 5 isn't hard, but, in general, running any internal wiring is an expensive exercise, especially when trying to achieve a good cosmetic effect. |
