| Re: Crap Because so far, NONE of the major labels or studios have released anything "legitimate" that wasn't severely restricted due to DRM and the movies they release online typically are extremely low-res. Now, if they were to release movies that had no DRM and were offered as either uncompressed MPEG-2 videos (for easy burn to DVD) and/or compressed high-res MPEG-4 videos then I might be tempted... but not at the price points they're quoting. I would never pay $20 for a low-res DRM copy of "X-Men," for example, when I can drive 5 minutes to Wal-mart and get the actual DVD for the same price that has NO DRM and is the highest res available (with HD-DVD exception). |
