Tech: What OS are you running?

Tech: Of course!
Me: OSX 10.4
Tech: That's why, DSL technology is incompatible with macintosh systems. Get a PC.
Me: No!

North Aurora, IL		 I've had a similar conversation with Verizon DSL before. Once I stated that I was connecting with a Mac, they shunted me off to the one Mac support rep they had (with the additional hold time).

Given that new Macs can now run Windows, I'm surprised that such a response hasn't become commonplace for Mac users who complain about things not working for them.

You must've called on a bad day (not that this sort of thing can be planned, of course). Usually the mac people are the ones sitting around waiting for calls.
