Well ... if you listen to some of the people here ...

... there is no need for any anti virus or anti spyware software because Macs are invincible

I'm just teasing ... don't all you Mac users get your panites in a bunch

That was going to be my exact comment.

All that software is designed to protect PCs, why would the OS X users want something to protect their computers from something it allegedly already is immune to? Perhaps it isn't as immune as we think if they're chomping at the bit to have an OS X NIS variant installed.

Sounds like the truth though.... when boasting about their Operating Systems, Mac and Linux users often boast about their security features and how they can't get any virusses, spyware, malware, etc.

Now that the Windows users however getting something that they aren't getting..... they are whining about not being treated equal. I would actually feel complimented if I did NOT need such software.

Only thing I could see is Parental Controls, but MacOS has other options for that. I believe its actually built into Tiger.

The Republican Party is a party of BAD ideas. The Democratic Party is a party of NO ideas. Every now and then a Republican stands up in congress and says: "I got a really BAD idea!", to which a Democrat reponds with: "And I can make it shittier!"
