Re: Dialup through PrePaid Long Distance Card

To use a calling card for long-distance dialing
Open Phone and Modem Options in Control Panel.
On the Dialing Rules tab, click the location to modify, and then click Edit.
To create a new location, click New.

On the Calling Card tab, click the calling card you want to use.

mlerner,

Thank you very much, I appreciate your help.

I use Linux myself, and I have to setup these options on my sister's laptop with Windows XP. I don't have Windows on my computer to mess around with right now otherwise I would have poked around at it myself. I am not all that familiar with dialup connections anyways.

Once again, thank you. I am very pleased that this will work because I really had no idea if it was possible or not.

Cheers,
Dave

Glad I could help. I didn't even really know if it was an option with Windows until I looked up the documentation and poked around in the settings. Anyway, your welcome and hope it works for you.
