[BOINC] Time for some serious consideration

OK, I'm making this a new thread simply because I don't want what I'm about to say associated with any particular thread.

Over the past few weeks most of what I've seen in the BOINC forum and other DC forums, is an increasing level of political unrest/conflict. This is NOT what I came here for. If things continue this way I will be resigning from all teams I belong to - and I will crunch on my own in future.

This constant squabbling and "little boy" games is turning the whole concept of distributed computing into something that is no longer fun

Kiwi - just a question as I haven't seen you around in a while - you still here or have you decided to go solo?

I guess you missed this:

I'm still here at BBR and I'll be lurking around here from time to time no doubt.

You can't get totally rid of me that easily

Like it or not, Boinc has caused a paradigm shift in DC.
Things will never be the same again.

The only question is will the old structures adapt to the new order and thrive, or will they stagnate and die.
