| I do not think that the Linksys PAP2 is a router. You will need to supply some details of your network, and your modem stats would also be helpful.

This modem? »broadband.motorola.com/noflash/sb5100.html
This PAP2? »www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellit···rWrapper
Neither of those can network 4 PCs. Still unclear. -- Jim -- USA2K SEE: |DCWU |FP |FAH |BVX REVIEW | FWD, Vonage 01/03-12/04, 04/06-now |

I too have a Motorola SB5120 and a Linksys PAP2 phone adapter, but I do also have a Linksys WRT54G router to allow multiple computers to connect.
I imagine you probably have a cable from your cable modem running to your router (whatever that may be) and your PAP2 plugged into your router. If you have your PAP2 plugged directly into your cable modem that would definitely be the reason for you lack of connectivity since you don't have anything for your computers to connect to. |

1 edit | If your network is configured following the instructions here: RTP300 installation with modem only, then follow the steps described in the DSLR FAQ: Modem Troubleshooting and post your modem stats here if you are unable to resolve the problem with those instructions.
If your network is not configured as shown in the first link, try those instructions and see if that helps. -- Outsourcing is not the same thing as Offshoring!!. Test your firewall. Smell the flowers. |
