Moving to Victoriaville Quebec.

I am moving to Victoriaville in a few weeks but not sure if i should get bell or videotron for high speed internet provider.
Currently i have cogeco in Hamilton, Ontario and they are just great.
Any help will be apreciated

Well owning Videotron, I'd have to say 720kB/sec download speeds for standard service beat out 3/5Mbit DSL anyday.

If you can afford it after your moving expenses...have both installed and compare them side by side...keep the better of the two.

I work in Victoriaville and we have Bell HS Ultra at 5mb and it's total crap! Everything was fine until last february but now we get disconnected many times a day and the speed is extremely slow sometimes. We have been working on this problems for months now and we now it's not on our side. It's seem is our bas that keep "rejecting" us for an unknow reason (authentification failure).

But I live in Danville and at home I have Bell regular HS and everything is fine. I was upgraded to 5mb 3 weeks ago and i have no problem. I download files on Bittorent ~500kb/sec with no problems.

So, if you choose Bell, I really hope won't have the same problems we have at work!

Cogeco in Quebec still uses TORIX which is not really good for gaming since my pings are 50&+, anyway I don't think cogeco is available in Victoriaville, If Videotron is available, get it.
