Hi guys,

Does anyone know what type of connector this is?
The box is an HP/Agilent 8753ES network analyzer.
(Agilent hasn't returned the call yet)

Sorry for an OT.

TIA.

Looks like an RP-SMA to me (reverse polarity SMA)

Here are some you can either match up or rule out.

No, these are even larger diameter than N-type. Definately not the SMA's.

Thanks for reply.

Any other ideas?

Thanks!

Hi guys,
The box is an HP/Agilent 8753ES network analyzer.
Agilent uses N-female connectors too, but this could be a 7 mm test port.

Are you simply curious about the end? or are you looking for a cable you can attach to the device?

The reason I'm asking is that it looks like that connector is on a screw-on adapter. I may be completely wrong but does it look like you can unscrew the end? if so, there might be a more common adapter behind it.

Hi , I have a HP analiser and it uses APC7 connectors.
Its a difficult to see from the photos but when you turn the nut does a threaded ring / sleeve stick out ?
I know they also do a smaller size to, do a search on ebay for APC Connector.

I am trying to buy a set of cables for this box.
Possibly Huber+Suhner can supply, but they usually quote about 8 weeks lead time.

Thanks.

Took a while but finally I found the answer - the connector type is APC-7 (aka 7mm connector):
