| This forum has a few examples of customers who are reporting increased speeds. Now if this is going to stay this way. Or if this is just some test etc. Is a totally different matter. You would be correct in thinking that no official announcement has been made.
At one time an announcement was made that Insight was going to only use one brand of modem ( Arris I think it was ). But I think in most areas if you rent one from them you could end up with any brand. If you have your own modem most well known models will work just fine with Insight.
