 A simple request.

If a member posts that they are leaving the team, or that they have some other problem with the team or DSLR, please exercise tolerance and compassion with them, or refrain from adding to the discussion at all. Emotions have run high for the last month, and they will likely continue to do so for a while longer. If something they say disturbs you, or anything said in this forum, do not hesitate to contact myself or klambert via IM and we will deal with it. That is what we are here for.

TIA, Kinguni

Haven't been here as long as you, but long enough to have learned that a cyberspace community is just that. Personal pressures and events can influence decisions, as can burn out here. There have been times when I've had to step back and leave some forums alone, times where I have been super active in them, and times to shut the computer out and be with my wife. This is life, and while here may be a microchasm of it something to remember is to never let the urgent crowd out the important. Thank you klambert and Kinguni for being here.

Well said Ron, and as a major culprit of speaking my mind..I'll try to be more tolerant in furture and perhaps NOT post my thoughts!

Very true! I've noticeably been practicing the latter of the two above. Thank you for ALL you do for the Team out in front and behind the scenes.

Great words of wisdom. There have been several occasions where I just left it alone and didn't post.

Re: A simple request.

After posting this morning and knocking your thread down 4 or 5 spots, I feel I must ^^BUMP^^ you back up to the top.

I know I am guilty of "fueling the fire" sort of speak, with those who have been trolling of late. If they are gracious in their departure, as Moskal was, I've been graceful in saying goodbye.

However, when we've had people come in here and B&C about everything *after* they have decided to leave, that has gotten to me. I've kept rather quiet minus one post I made yesterday. I toned it WAY down from what I was feeling but it was probably still rather nasty.

For those who may have found it untasteful, my apologies. This is a darn fine team and I hate to see one or two "rotten apples" spoil the bunch.

Onward and upward to 1M units and to crush HP!

Even though very little (if any) people read the FAQ klambert and I made I'm going to link this thread to a question.

Probably some people, to quote Mr Webb, read Just The FAQs, man!

BUMP.

A FAQ is like an instruction manual, right? I typically don't read either of them....just like Terms of Service and License Agreements.
