OK, NOW AFTER ALL THE AOL BASHING, LETS TURN AND LOOK AT SYMANTEC'S PRODUCTS. I use Norton A/V, but none of the other crap, as I have often encountered major conflicts with other software, or mysterious situations like the above, where a Windows Update, or even Symantec update, kills internet connectivity. I'm not talking about 1 PC in a hundred, but more like 1/4 stop working until a System Restore or else netsh winsock reset catalog. I never had that problem before OEM's started putting their junk on every PC they sell. Now, you have to fight with someone and show them "YOUR CRAP IS CRAP". |
