Someone should try to figure out how to get the phone to ring when it is connected to that second port when it has the signature number... Can the OTHER adapters do this? I have an old Cisco ATA but I have to look for it, but is there a way to get the Signature Number to RING a phone on the second port? |

Duncan, SC | It won't be possible from your end. When someone calls your signature number, Sunrocket immediately forwards it to your household number. It's not the Gizmo telling Line1 to ring, it's the the Gizmo never even know line 2 is ringing. |

As posted in another thread, even with access to the GIZMO with the "elusive" administrative password, Line 2 will never ever ring when receiving calls on your Main or Signature or Anywhere numbers. Only the Line 1 phone will ring. On the otherhand, as I understand it, the GIZMO can be set up to allow outgoing calls from Line 2 showing your Signature/Anywhere number --- for those privy to the high-fallutin' password. |
