@cox.net | [XP Pro] Defaul Window Size in XP?
We just installed XP Pro and I am trying to find where to set the default window size for a new window in IE. I would be greatful for any and all help. I have checked through the Tools/Internet Options and didn't find it in there. |

| Not sure if this what your looking for. But goto Start menu button then All programs. Right click Internet Explorer listing - select properties. Then in the middle of that tab you can select the window size. -- Test Your Security Cable Diagnostics My BLOG ZoneAlarm Help |

@cox.net | Well, I thought that was it, but it didn't fix all of it. LOL When I have a web page open and I click on a link that opens in a new window, it is still minimized. That is what I need to change now. Anyone know how to do this? |

| That should work ok,But how you size any window should always open that way all the time.Does yours not remember this and your reason for asking ? But pop up windows can't be controlled if thats what you mean. Control panel/folder options has an option for this under view tab."Remember each folders view settings". Function key F11 is great for smaller monitors.:) -- Don't ban broads. |

2 edits | reply to Heidi_D If you use the method in Cudni 's link, you have to remember to close the main window LAST or you'll have to do it all over again. If you don't do that, that could be why it doesn't seem to "hold" from one IE session to the next.
I don't think the OP is talking about "popups", she is talking about opening a link within a webpage. -- ~~~...and I miss you, like the deserts miss the rain...~~~ |
