Sorry to hear you did not end up well after the merger. You unfortunately have no recourse since this is a free market per se. Due to one company buying another, Cingular did not have to entirely meet the terms of your previous AT&T contract. Eventually they will be able to completely pull the plug on those who hang on to TDMA/AMPS. I still use it, but I doubt it will be active forever. -Pedro

Pepe777 @71.228.x.x	The two are one in the same(!) Because the contract did not guarantee good or consistent (=perfect) service/reception, they can do what they want with the holdovers essentially.
