1 edit | OK, further update. I found this post: »[SunRocket] Resetting SunRocket Gizmo Defaults which explains the problem I was having (port scan of the Gizmo shows no port 80 so can't access it). I did a reset by using ##258-3858 as described in that post. I'm now able to get into the Gismo from the LAN side but not the WAN side (right now the Gizmo is inside my router). I can see the IP address it's picking up from my router or I can set a static IP address, but still, the only way to access the Gismo is from the LAN side via laptop, when previously I was able to access the Gismo from the WAN side from my network (I think - or am I going crazy?). I don't see any settings that would limit or enable management from the WAN side. |

| I'm not at home right now so this might not be 100% accurate, but there is a tab on one of the pages to enable telnet and http access from either WAN/LAN. I think that there's a security page with an access tab. Enable WAN-side web access there.
At some point late last year SR had enabled admin on port 80 from the WAN side but I think that this was a config mistake that they later corrected. I sure hope so, at least. It messed up some folks that were port-forwarding 80 and had the gizmo in front of the router, and it's bad idea for security anyway. |

| reply to GTFan said by GTFan :said by netlover :So for line2, the authorized user name and password are same as line1? Yes. You just have to change the phone number for line 2 but everything else is the same. The user id and pw are the same string of numbers, so you copy the id to the id and pw fields on line 2. After this is done and the SIP settings are saved , is there anything else that needs to be done ? Line 2 still isn't working after I did this... |

The I.P. Address is 192.168.251.1 and the Password is welcome. But the problem is you can NOT copy any information from "SIP Application" form line 1 to line 2. |

Hmmm, anyway you could tell me if I am doing something wrong? I copy and paste everything then go and change the number for the signiture number, save averything and even exit the unit but still no line 2 dial tone. Any help would be appreciated. I saw where you mentioned "you copy the id to the id and pw fields on line 2" the id next to the password field?
Yhank you. |

| said by jjgb10 :Put in your signature number for Line 2 number. Then TYPE in the user id from above to the line 2 user name. Then, type the user id from line 1 into the password field for line 2. Yes, it doesn't match lengthwise but when you save it it will work. 1. Put signature number in line 2 phone number. 2. Put user id from line 1 into user id for line 2. 3. Put user id from line 1 into password for line 2. 4. Choose Caller ID name. 5. Click Save Settings. 6. Reboot adapter. 7. You should have a dialtone for Line 2. Where is the screen in which these entries are made? |

1 edit | Thanks everyone. Ours are no longer functioning. Worked great until this thread became public. Too many reading BBR, I guess.
Well, back to the drawing board. |

Sure, it was nice while it lasted, but you are NOT paying for that to work so tough cookies if you can't do it anymore.
For you to say that they lose nothing is pretty bold of you since I'm seriously doubting you can say 100% for sure that you know this to be fact.
I'd bet that it takes up some resources somewhere inside SR to have 2 lines active at once. As in both lines being engaged in a call at the same time.... not as in being able to call out on both lines.

I had the same problem after I logged into my Gizmo. The IP address changed. Plug your computer into the lan port on the gizmo and do ipcongig /all . The default gateway is the new IP of the Gizmo. Tim |
