1 edit | Re: Cingular refuses to keep my old ATT Wireless p If I recall correctlly, Cingular doesn't lock the phones on thier network so you can just go out and buy one from any one cellular reseller, pop in your att sim card, and use it. (it works on teh razr, I've tested it)
That being said, I'm not sure if its worth keeping the old att service plan. I don't think it gets the same quality of service as those on the cingular network. One time a CSR even admitting that the old attws network was being cannabilized for their cingular customers.
