[TV] PVR Question, Recording While off.

When you press the power button on the remote does the PVR remain active and record scheduled programs?

both boxes while turned off but still have power are pingable so I assume that the box would still do it's job.

Just curious since my new harmony remote turns the box off when I shut down my entertainment system.

Actually if you hit the power button while a recording is going the red light stays on. So that's a sigh of relief. I guess that portion of the power settings is just to turn off the tv facing side of the box.
