I am not a professional like you guys, I am just doing it for hobby. I am not mad at you but if you want to understand more you will have to take time to read what I have already said to others - it took a lot ot time and thought to write that post, I'm not wasting my time repeating myself.
You won't make any friends here saying things like "I really dont have time to read that thread". It is probably the worst thing you can say on a forum like this. Have you stopped to think how much time people spend here answering questions, some are easy, some have taken a lot of time to find and test the answers. All have given up their time to help others for nothing. They found the time although they gained no benefit - you get the benefit, so find the time!
I assume your first language isn't english so I understand that some of your responses may not come across as you intend and reading some posts may require more work than it does for others. You may well be a really nice guy but remember we only know people from what happens here in this forum. You may well give a lot elsewhere but if you want to recieve a lot here you may have to do the occasional small thing we ask you here (like read a thread).
Have a great Christmas too Moaned
(....oh and please don't start me on the ******** that is the political correctness of "Happy Holidays" )

As long as his "broken english" is understandable I don't see a problem. I can understand his questions; those who can't can just ignore them.
I admire people who can post in (what is to them) a foreign language. I wish I had their talent, however imperfect it may be. |

This forum attracts people with different levels of expertise and skills which is what makes this forum attractive to EVERYONE.
Cisco newbies today are the gurus of tomorrow so be careful who you knock as they may be working for Cisco TAC one day and YOU will be asking them for help!
We also get people from different countries and walks of life hence we can't expect everyone to be able to write English fluently and appreciate the fact that they have tried.
This is the end of the "language and expertise" discussion and if flaming does continue, I will request that this thread gets LOCKED or your posts get deleted as they are not conducive to this discussion!
There is always one golden rule to forum etiquette, if you haven't got anything worthwhile to contribute, don't contribute at all. -- If only my employers can see how much effort I put into the Cisco forum. They would then understand why I sleep at my desk. |
