12 of my co-works (and myself) just asked the sales people in a Verizon store, and were given the service with a 2 year contract @ 59.99. No voice service needed. So if 79.99 is a deal breaker, but 59.99 works...just ask. Was not a hard negotiation either, just asked and it was given. Has been done over the past 30 days in at least 3 different Verizon stores. Never hurts to ask for a discount with cell service from any carrier. If you are a new sub they will do just about anything to get you signed up.
Love the service, really nice to have a fast connection at my finger tips everywhere I go. |
