[Need] What advanced Uninstaller should I use?

I had asked about a program to do differential removals based on scans before and after an install, and was told I actually want an advanced uninstaller.

The person who replied indicated they knew of one - Total Uninstaller, but had not actually used any of them.

So, recommendations on one to try out?

I used that forever and then ditched it because they hadn't updated in a ridiculously long time... so they released the 2006, you say!? Interesting! Might have to give it another look. Is the upgrade free for those with licenses for the 2004 version.. or 2005 or whatever, because I still have that, or do you have to pay an upgrade fee?
Thanks

EDIT:
BTW.. I used Your Uninstaller! ALONG with Total Uninstall. It's a killer combination. First uninstall with Your Uninstaller!.. then clean what's left with TU.. then run a registry cleaner if you're really paranoid hehe

fegul See Profile, you mean to tell me you use TI as an uninstaller, just reimaging the disk when you don't like a program? Given with how often I try stuff out I imagine that must be very tedious. Also.. what happens if you install something to try it out.. then you keep on working and customize a few things in other programs and in the OS.. get it where you like it, and then you decide you don't like an app you install 3 weeks ago? Do you image back to that point and lose all your changes?

I'm going to jump in here with my $0.2 about that process.

Yes, I'll go back to an old image after I determine I don't want to keep that particular application installed, especially if it's a trial version. Usually there is a file or registery entry left behind which tells that it's been installed before and usually won't let you install it again after the trial period has ended. Even using third party uninstallers might not get it all, especially if the file or registry entry is created sometime in the future. Software vendors know about these tracking uninstallers and although you should always run the new application at least once before you close the tracking software, the new application might not create the entry until after the fifth or tenth run, so the uninstaller misses it.

If you go back to a previously created image, then everything is gone.

Or, use a second machine or another partition with the OS installed to test new software.

If its something I've had for a while, I just use its uninstaller. Only when I install a program that gets its roots into my system (like Office, Or Adobe Acrobat) will I make a backup beforehand.

I tend to keep my important stuff on other drives, and have the most important of those backed up to a different computer, so I don't worry too much about those.

For most programs though, I just use the uninstallers they come with.
