After some initial problems, the service has been working great for me. I too got in on the early "Free Packet" plan, and get the DID, unlimited incoming calls and 100 minutes outgoing, for the grand total of $0.00. I bet they eventually shut it down, but I'm happy enough with the service that I'd throw caution to the wind and "upgrade" to the 0.95/month plan.
They do have at least one nasty clause in their TOS. Before signing up, I'd want to clarify that it doesn't apply to BYOD customers.
3.6 Termination Fee (Does Not Apply to Business Customers). You will be charged a termination fee of $39.99 per voice line if your Service is terminated for any reason during the first twelve months following the activation of your Service. |
