| Getting better speeds from Telus usenet
I would like to get better speeds from my Telus news server, I currently have a maximun connection set to 3 (which is the maximun per server), I was wondering does Telus have muliple servers, so I can connect to more servers and get a better download speed. If so what are the names of all the usenet servers. Thanks. |

@telus.net | Are you on 1.5 or 2.5? What speeds are you currently getting from usenet? What is your usenet client? |

| reply to j_a_t_h Ironically enough, the Telus news server is throttled across telus connections (last I remember). The fastest way to get a faster new server connection is to get a Telus username / password that works with news and connect from a network such as shaw. |

and I think that may have been limited by the connection I used.
At home its 1.4mbps about 90% of the time (on a 1.5 connection). |
