Ok, I'm shocked at the results that i am seeing. Can someone please explain to me what this means? i cannot believe how slow i am.

Looks like you are not the only one seeing problems with hop 8 from the east, and hop 9 from the west. What it means is that Insight is either causing the problem, or they have ignored the fact that there are problems with their infra-structure.

I'm having the same problems...have been for probably 4 days or so. They are coming out to find the problem tomorrow so what should I tell them? That I pinged their routers and one is extremely lossy?

The techs that come out to the house will not listen to you. I had one show up yesterday to bring the DVR for us, and wanted to pull a whole new feed from the pole (does not need it), along with wanting to do work on the pole (can't see why also, not needed).

When I showed him the quality of the line, and explained that the work that was needed when we got digital was done last year to correct some issues, he still insisted that he wanted to do some work.

I pretty much told him no, get the new box hooked up, chased him out of the house, and had a laugh with my fiance' becase of the fact that he did not do anything but a visual inspection, not used any tools or diagnostic equipment.

Pretty much you will end up getting the same. Until Insight takes sight that they have problems on their end, they will keep insisting that it is the end user's problem with lags and spikes, when the information is right there in what the line quality shows.
