Sounds like his number was forwarded to another number that was shorted. The dogs you see coming are one thing. Its the ones that sneak up on you that I hate. Whats makes it worse is when the owner is standing in the doorway watching as it gets ready to use you for a chew toy. |

I had one sob who actually after being told to restrain the dog (put in another room in the apartment) opened the door to that room and told the dog to "get me" I broke the front door latch on my way out. He later after complaining about the broken latch and lack of service told my foreman he was just kidding around. Real funny.....

| reply to tel601 Awww, she's a good dog, she wouldn't bite anybody, come on in!
How many times you heard that one?
10 seconds later you are dragging the dog around attached to the pant leg of your brand new uniform pants that you spent your last yearly amount on to get. No, she's a great pet!
Are you here to work on my phone? (you're across the street at someone else's house running a wire) Ever had someone ask you that?
Don't mind the mess, I haven't had time to clean up today (piles of stuff everywhere, rotted floor boards). Another classic line in the world of repair.
Back on topic though, this really sounded like a T-R short to me...what with the static and all when dialed. |

I was working on a guys phone and he told me exactly that, except there were two dogs, a little harry thing and one that looked like half a pitbull. I was watching the one that resembled a pitbull and the little hairy one ran up and took a plug that eventually required stitches. You know what the next thing he said was? "Huh, he's never done that before." From that time forward, I never entered a yard without the dogs put up and my pepper spray. (Which I had to buy myself since the company wasn't providing it that long ago.) |

When you walk into a trailer and they tell you to excuse the foot deep pile of rotting trash because the kids messed up the place while they were out of town is bad enough. Six months later when you have to go back to the same place and they tell you the same story does it get a little sad. |
