$72.95 + $24.99 (Unlimited Long Distance) = $97.94 + taxes
Let's compare apples to apples here.
Once you add taxes and fees, you get 2Mbps LESS downstream and probably end up paying more. |

| reply to verolom I've seen services offered for symmetric. You might try to find a small local-brand provider who can do that for you. You might be surprised at what you can get. In Nashville, Butler Networks (run by a guy I used to go to college with) has a lot of specialty services. Maybe there's some service like that in your local market. |

| reply to BIGCAT777 Don't you have to be literally glued to the CO to receive this speed?
Like other folks here, I am more concerned with the significantly lower upstream bandwidth and higher latency, as my use for the connection is much more symmetric in nature. No, it's not business, it should be symmetric, as I need to synchronize files among a few computers, and operate one remotely from the other. |

@bellsouth.ne | reply to dsless OH! MY! We wait all this time for 6.0 and as soon as it's really here the tears start to roll. SAD, just take time and enjoy your new connection. |
