Can some of you fortunate ones that have ordered the 6.0 post your CO distances?
I'm about 500-600 feet away.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Would you all please quit calling the DSL agents. Just check back online every hour or so. When the site is up, put in your order. It's really that simple. Let the agents help people who really need it!

Remember, it can be offered through remote DSLAMS too so you might want to take that into account. You could be 8 miles away from the CO but get 6.0 via a RT.

@bellsouth.ne

Thanks for someone to finally make that statement.

I live in an apartment complex and they have fiber laid to each of the units. My actuall CO is about 3 road miles from me (15840').

But the actauly copper run is less than a 1000'. So I think I will be ok, and many others will be too.

Bellsouth or anyone else would not offer a service that they would have to give excuses to most people as to why they cant get. That would triple the international phone calls to INDIA. LOL ;-p

Take care and enjoy the new 6.0

Well I just went to the www.bellsouth.com and used modified service and selected 6.0 meg. Order was completed in less then 5 minutes! I got an email stating the order was completed. Of course I am not home to verify this.

Well Ive looked and when I go to update service, 6.0 is not available, so I guess I'm too far for it. Oh well, I'll just focus my attention to getting off of interleave and be content with that....being left out of the loop doesn't feel quite so good

Funny you can see the product listed on the Fastaccess site but not on the BellSouth main website.

Oh, and going in to manage my account I can't see the 6 meg option yet....

The option for me on that page was listed just after midnight. So it must be a rolling update. Just keep checking it...

Has anyone from South Florida been able to place an order. My screen still does not show 6.0.

" ERROR:
The records indicate a problem with your telephone service account. Please contact your local BellSouth Business Office for assistance."

Would a late bill cause that error?

Order application works for me, except I can't seem to get the 6.0 tier option. Anyone in the Ft. Lauderdale area able to?
