Did you take a look at the IDP selections and setup via the demo firmwares??

| reply to apsinkus 1. correct 2. which begs the question which organization are they using -warnings -resources to do fast updates 3. Tis the reason the TurBO Card is in place and scaled back some of the throughput/concurrent sessions. My guess is that there should be negligible effect. 4. Correct -- Ain't nuthin but the blues! | I would like to gain more understanding about the IDS feature on the ZyWALL 70. 1st question: who is the provider of signatures for the IDS? It is isn't Sourcefire stuff from snort.org, is it?
2nd question: anyone see IDS in action save your net from Sasser and some of that other nasty stuff? I am not worried about my linux boxes, but Win2003 is causing me some sleepless nights.
3rd question: compatibility with SIP stuff. IDS takes processor cycles, how much of a latency do you think IDS will add to SIP packets?
Last question: who is the provider of signature files for the anti-virus feature? AV work only in the SMTP right? |
